I’m hoping to do a section hike next week from Battle Pass, WY to Rabbit Ears Pass, CO and on to Grand Lake, CO by RMNP. It sounds a little dicey due to lingering snow. Has anybody been on this section recently? Thanks, Mike

I know rabbit ears pass still has a fair about of snow on it, but it’s melting pretty rapidly. You should be fine by next week. One thing to watch for is there have some crazy lightning storms in northern CO lately. Have fun (the 6 fishing lakes portion is my favorite and it’s beautiful)
