next summer we(2) want to hike 80 days on CDT with llamas.
Any proposal where to start / end such a hike? so-no?
want to avoid water shortages , high altitudes no problem.

Best bet is Colorado. Start at Cumbres Pass near the Colorado border and go north to Enchantment Wyoming. Water isn’t much of a problem and you won’t have to deal with fences as you would in Montana. Get Jim Wolf’s guidebooks and Bearcreek’s maps.
