it’s also a brutal saturated fat for those that are watching their cholesterol. I love it and have picked those suckers right off the tree thirty feet up, mmm mmm. But they don’t love me no more. :frowning:

I chopped one up from one that fell in our yard today. But when I chopped open the inside nut, I wasted ALL THE MILK! It went everywhere. But I’ve got a bunch of meat. There’s more on the trees, but you have to get them before the locals do. Say… does anyone know how to make macaroons?

BushWack- Island Mama and I are here on the island house- sitting for a couple months. Meanwhile, I’m writing my master’s thesis and organizing backpacking classes that I will be teaching in the GA/NC/SC region.

Thanks for the recipe. It looks like macaroons while chocolate on top. We might skip the chocolate, as long as I don’t let her know it’s supposed to be on there! :lol
