Colorado Trail - Map

I am thru hiking the Colorado Trail next summer from July 10 - August 8. I have thru hiked the PCT & 1/2 of the AT. Are the topo mpas necessary or will the Data Book and CT Guidebook be sufficient - will also be doing Kennedy Meadows to Ashland on PCT August 9 - October 1 in case any of my trail friends are in the respective neighborhoods.

I believe in brining maps as while the CT is pretty well marked, it is in mountains (esp. the second half) more remote than the AT.

The Colorado Trail has a new book of maps with gps waypoints for the entire trail. Its all you need. Order from www.coloradotrail.org
