Coordinates for termini of PCT

Hey, can anyone help us out? We’re looking for the exact latitude and longitude of the monuments at the southern and northern termini of the PCT. It’s one of those obsessive compulsive traits of Yo-YO’s surfacing again! Thanks

Hey guys! Zero may be obsessive-compulsive, but I’ll give you the characteristic Skittles (just plain weird) answer to half of your question. N32 55.830, W116 11.754 will put you approximately 250 yards east of the southern terminus. :nerd

Okay, so I’ve got OCD as well…

According to this, Manning Park is at 49.138 Lat, -120.617 Long. The coords in my first post got me a bit confused (copy and paste from a geocacher’s website,) so here are two maps that show the southern end and have coords.

Here is the exact lat. and long. for the Northern Terminus. I was there on Sept 22 to conclude my thru! N 48 59.967’ W 120 48.173 I had a geocache marked for the Southern Terminus at N 32 35.405 W 116 27.839. It is NOT the Terminus itself but is within sight of the monument. Get ahold of Chance ( PCT 03’ and 04’ ) for confirmation on the co-ords, I believe he will have them as well. In case you were wondering, the total distance between the two monuments… 1154 miles! :eek: I learned to quit telling the other thru-hikers how far we had ‘really’ come.

N32 35.368 W116 27.988 is what we get using TOPO! for the S terminus

Little John, I think we saw you at the kickoff. Ken, GottaGo and I were looking for geocaches. Congrats on your thru!!

We did a “go to” from the northern terminus to the southern on the CDT and the distance as the crow flies was…do you want to guess?Look below my signature
