Were having a bit of a problem on working out our budget. How much for the Town stops lets say X20 and how much of it is food? Motels? Etc.

Bring a Visa card. Town food is high dollar, but you have not only food and lodging but P.O., laundry, outfitter stops. Unless you like to go lean, a hundred a stop makes for a nice town stop with a nice hotel w/laundry, a grocery hit, beer, mail drop, fuel etc. The there is the Coke craving, or Mountain Dew. And your appetite will tripple at the least. Make a third of your food for drops and buy the rest in town for more veriety. You get board of your home stuff pretty quick.

A $100 for a town stop is probably a little high.
Motel/hostel $10 to $40 Split the room with someone
Town meals, Dinner $ Breakfast $20 to $30
Food resupply 3 to 6 days $15 to $30
Fule, soda misc. snacks. $5 to $10
Laundry $1 to $3
The Max doesn’t apply to every town stop. The south is cheaper than the north. I think I woulf average spending $50 to $75.
