Asking what the feedback would be if you could purchase a coupon card/book that would provide you with discounts on places to eat and sleep in the towns along the trail. Like a “Frank” card where you could present this to an establishment and get a certain percentage off your meal or stay.
What do you guys think of that type of idea??

The venders and suppliers along the trails depend on us spending money. They have a very short season to make a living.
There prices are probably as low as they can go and still make some money.
If your budget is tight, just pay the asking price, with a smile.
If your OK with cash we should offer to pay more, not less.
And don’t forget to tip large, they depend on it.
