I was planning to use just the data book and guide book for my summer hike on the CT. Is it sufficient enough just to check on the coloradotrail.org site for trail reroutes vs. the guide book details? Anything I am missing here? My impression is that the trail is well marked and little chance losing the route if you have the up to date info to go by.

Go with what has most recently been published and you will be fine. Enjoy, it is a jewel of a trail. Peace, WB

Most up to date source at the present time is the Mapbook which was just updated this past winter. If you are using the guidebook or databook go to www.coloradotrail.org and download some maps of recent changes from there. New guidebook is due out in September - too late for this season.
