CT thru hike - The Colorado Trail

I’m planning on thru hiking the Colorado Trail this year starting in mid July. Looking for other hikers starting around the same time who would be interested in joining up. Please feel free to shoot me an email or respond to the post.

I will also be starting around July 15th. Don’t know exact day yet, depends on my daughter since she plans to join me for part of the hike. A friend from Pennsylvania is also considering joining me.

Hey Dan. Thanks for the prompt response. Ill be starting from Denver on July 20th/ish (plus or minus a day). My brother plans on joining me for the first haul from Denver to Breckenridge. From Breckenridge forward I’ll be hiking mostly solo with family and friends joining me periodically. I’m giving myself 7/8 weeks to complete the trail and summit a few 14ers along the way. I’m happy to exchange contact information if your interested in some companionship during parts of your hike.

A couple of us will be hiking the CT from Waterton to Breck starting July 24, if your start gets delayed or something let me know.

I will also be taking my daughter on her first overnight trail hike from Waterton Canyon trailhead to Breckenridge. We will be starting July 13th. I plan on parking in SW Littleton at a park-n-ride and getting to the trailhead from there with some assistance.

My husband Marc and I are planning a thru hike starting the week of July 20 - we’re coming from Vancouver BC so we need to stay a couple of days in the Denver area to assemble food and organize resupply. We’ll also need to figure out transport to the TH at Waterton Canyon. Anyone know of a room to rent for a couple of days in the Denver area around that time?
