Yo, any rides for hire in town anymore? I plan to hike into Trail Days(on Friday night) but need a lift to Mt. Rogers Sunday or Monday that week so I can hike south. I need to leave my car at a B+B in Damas so I make a fast get away. Obviously the shuttle fee or gas bucks.

Try calling Mt Rogers Outfitter there in town. Several bike outfits there also shuttle, may I recommend Blue Blaze.

Leaving Traildays on Sunday should be a breeze. Everyone is giving rides to hikers. Last year I shuttled several on my way out of town. Just ask around when you get there.
