Has anyone heard what is going to happen with crossing the damns on the trail if we go any higher of alert of terror. On Wingfoots email it says there is thought of mybe rerouting soon around the damns.

They did stop traffic over Fontana Dam after 9/11 but hikers were allowed to cross. I don’t think you’ll have a problem. In fact, I think the soldiers were surprised when hikers started popping out of the woods behind them.
