Left my car there for a week with no problems a few years ago. However, mice found their way into our food in the trunk. I now store my food in a plastic bin. More so, I was told that this lot is on the county line and thus is the turn around for the cops from both counties. It’s a big lot with room for at least 10 cars. There’s a parking fee of about 3 bucks a day if I remember right.

I actually live in Hiawassee, GA, the nearest town to Dicks Creek Gap, and it is a very low-crime area, however hokey pokey was right, it is right on the Towns County/Rabun County border, but everytime I drive by, I always see cars parked there so I assume crime hasn’t deterred people from parking. It is very out of the way for most people to get there anyway

I have left my car over night three years ago with no problem. I was there three weeks ago and the fee has been done away with.
