I’m looking at the Olympus Stylus 810. Here is the page.

Take a look at the Pentax Optio w10. Waterproof and 6 mil.
pix. very Small. the only down side is no lens cover and if you get finger prints on lens you get blurred pix.

Chairman. I have a Pentax Optio, 3X Zoom, with 5 Mexapixels. It is very small and takes great pictures. It is about the size of a pack of playing cards. I bought mine at Costco.

I have an Olympus Stylus and am very happy with it. The reason I picked it originally is that it is weatherproof so it stands up to getting A LITTLE wet. You shouldn’t submerge it but if it gets rained on its no big deal. It also takes some great pictures. My only gripe is that in bright sunshine I find it immpossible to see the LED screen so have no idea if the picture is centered perfectly.

I’ve been backpacking with the Pentax Optio 43WR for years. Waterproofabilty, a marco mode and that it used AA batteries were key deciding factors in my purchasing it. I’ve been thrilled with it in every regard.

I hate to be a bit dim witted, but what is a marco mode?
What is the approximate weight of the cameras mentioned in this listing of cameras?

Marco~was a typo. Macro mode is the ability to take close up photos, less then a foot from the subject, i.e. a flower.
