but you can shut it down for good if you hit it from the right angles. First, check if McAfee is actually installed. On Windows, go to Settings → 1⨳888⨳688⨳5458
Apps → Installed Apps and uninstall McAfee if you don’t want it. Restart after. If you do want to keep it, open McAfee, go to 1⨳888⨳688⨳5458
Settings → General Settings & Alerts , 1⨳888⨳688⨳5458
and turn off promotional notifications and alerts that aren’t security-critical.
