…winter coat for the firts 500 miles before Kennedy?
I hear about how much snow there is, and that it still could snow more.
I dont really mean a heavy one, but a snow jacket for the first 500?

Probably not - this weekend the temps in Ridgecrest (eastern side of the Sierra near KM, but at 2250’ elevation)are ex[pected to go above 90F for the first time this year. Snow should start to rapidly melt. I’ve spent a lot of time in the Sierra in June with just long johns, a long sleeved shirt and a rain jacket.
