We want to hike with our dogs, how will this affect our resupplies, i’m assuming NO htiching with 2 pups!! Any good dog info PLEASE!!

The CT IMO is a good trail for dogs, just remember to protect their feet. The trail at times consists of sharp gravel that can tear pads quickly (experience shows).
The few places that do exist on the trail provide some supplied for dogs, the smaller places however do not. I suggest you mail the dog’s food forward just like you would do for your own food.
I took my cell phone with me that has a GPS option. This way I could call ahead for hotel reservations and directions. Since some places do except pets, perhaps this capability may help you as well.
Hitching with dogs can be an issue, perhaps a one person hitch while the other waits in the wood line with the dogs. Remember there are a lot of pickup trucks in Colorado, it may not be that bad at all.

I’ve never had an issue getting a hitch with my dogs. My last hitch was with my wife, and both dogs, in the pouring rain and we were offered a ride in less than 10 minutes.
