The Denver Water Board and Colorado DPW restrict dogs from Segment 1 to protect the bighorn sheep population in Waterton Canyon.
Indian Creek trailhead is the alternate start for the CT, meets the CT at Lenny’s Rest, and in my opinion more scenic than the walk up Waterton Canyon.
