Yogi, so what about dry eyes? Do you find that is a problem at all?

Thanks,
Bob

not for me. I wear contacts and always carry a tiny bottle of eyedrops. But I don’t recall any dry eye problems.

I ended up with a mild case of snowblindness when I forgot to put on my dark glasses going over Muir Pass. That is very painful. I spent two days at Vermillion with a cold cloth over my eyes. Eye drops helped there.

What is snow blindness? Does it mean you can’t see, or your eyes just hurt?

As I said, I had a minor case - my eyeballs burned - they turned bright red and felt very painful. Vision was affected, but I didn’t actually go blind - but then, I was only getting reflected light for a few hours.

Too much UV exposure literally sunburns your eyes.
