Anyone already out there with an active journal, found only one so far?
LacquerHead
Who did you find? I found Flying Monkey, a winterbreak section hiker that started in DEC from Springer and hiking to Damascus. Santas Helper is also out there, attempting a YoYo of the trail for 4,350 miles! A reader’s account helps, using the “what’s new” at the top gives a list of dates, name and location which helps. Great way to keep track of what you’ve already read too…Just a suggestion for those that haven’t tried the reader’s account.

What a great year to get started early. The temperatures around Springer have been in the 50’s and 60’s during the day and down into the 30’s at night. Of course that could/will change at any time.
Lipstick, what is a reader’s account, where do you find one?
Bilko
Bilko, log in at the left top corner. Most use this to edit or add to their journal but there is an option there to start a reader acct. I’m always logged in, the cookies stay on and keeps track of what I’ve read and is marked with the “at” sign: @. When you find someone you want to keep track of its really a great way, you choose the “bookmark” at the bottom of their journal page. Then you have a list of all your bookmarks when you choose “view bookmarks” at the top of the page. Then when you use the pull down of the dates it shows the @ symbol to let you know where you left off or what new page has been added. You can use the favorites too but it does not show their picture and so far have not been able to delete once they are on “my favorites list”. Anyone out there know how to delete from the favorite list?? You can on the book mark list. When you look at photos it also shows the @ symbol to show you which ones you’ve seen before. Its really great, saves time. 42’s Mom, Vicki is the one who told me about it and I’m glad she did, thanks Vicki!!! Anymore questions, I’ll try to help, ok? Also, with the reader acct you have the buttons at the top that has “What’s new”, lists the date of the journal page, the author and the location. Seeing the location is great because if you have a shelter or an area you want to read about you can check it out!

Explain again how to get a reader account, please. My old one disappeared and I can’t get it back, and I can’t figure out how to open a new one.
Thanks.
