Edible Plants on CT?

I was wondering what sort of edible plants are plentiful along the Colorado trail. I don’t trust myself enough to try mushrooms, but I think I can identify a flower or two or some grasses. Something to supplement some noodles and/or to make tea with.

I am sure some experts can give you much better information on CT edibles. I have only added dandelions to my freeze dried food, boiled spruce and pine needles in hot water to make a mountain hot “tea” in the evening (few if any calories!), and caught Brookies for dinner. I am sure there are lots of edible plants along the CT. I also stay away from the mushrooms unless I am hiking with a mushroom expert. SJ Ron

I found and ate a few wild strawberries, emphasis on “few”.
