I hear a lot of folks talk about AT trail books.
Nobody, but nobody, talks about this one.
Is it any good? Or, rather, is it even remotely about hiking?

Two gay women were shot is one of the state parks in PA that the AT passes through. One of them was killed.
They were camping & had done some hiking. Most of the book(I read it several years ago) is about the after effects, the trial, etc.
I spent much of the time wondering why they thought it was a crime against lesbians until, fairly late in the book, the writer, who was the survivor, mentions that they were engaged in sexual activity and not completely clothed.
There is really not much about hiking.
