Google Earth shows its own CDT path, starting SOBO from Jerry’s MT waypoint 06-250GT. This path goes over Cottonwood Peak (recommended by Jon Ley) and keeps going over Eighteenmile Peak. And then it seems to end at 10,100 feet and 1.7 miles SW of 06-138WT.
Is this a former or future CDT path, or some uncommon alternative route of maybe 10 miles? Does it exist and is it passable for a non-mountaineer hiker ?
