Please understand that I am in no way questioning anyone’s integrity, etc. but usually before I contribute money to any cause I like to know exactly what the money is being used for. In this particular case I am still unsure what I am being asked to contribute to, and what exactly will the money be used to “purchase”. Is someone going to buy this property? If so, who, and at what price? Is that a fair market price for the property? Who will actually own the property after the purchase? Or, am I contributing to some other “method” of saving this property for the greater hiking community other than an outright purchase? It seems prudent to know the answers to these kinds of questions, both the specific ones I asked and maybe some others I did not ask. This information may be available somewhere but I’m pretty busy and it would be helpful if someone could point me to it if there is a web site, or whatever, where more of the details are explained. I did go to the web site mentioned above, but after a quick search I did not find any information at the level of detail that I suggest in this post. People might be more inclined to get on board if this information were made available. Just my thoughts. Thanks.

I heard that the rainbow springs site was bought by Winta at mountain crossing, and is now safe from development. Call the crew there to see if its true…

Nobody has bought Rainbow Springs from the owners who want to develop it into condos. False rumor.
