I am planning a section hike for the PCT. I want to go from Wrightwood to Kennedy Meadows. What kind of road is it from Kennedy Meadows to 395?

Long, paved and mostly downhill. T’s at the 395 4-lane intersection near Pearsonville. Not a lot of traffic in winter, but folks will usually pick up backpacking hitchhikers.
Only retail establishments are Kennedy Meadows store and Grumpy Bears.
