First hike 1 mouth and more

Hello guys, i planned to do my first hike of one mouth and more. I lived at montreal in quebec. I’m 21 years old. I will start my hike in 2007. I need some information about the hike,
-What kind of meat will be the best ( dry )
-What is the most difficult in the hike.

if someone whant to tell me more in his hike because i need a lot’S of informations, about anything of the AT and the hike .

Hey Hoover, I suggest at least 3 mouths for your AT hike. One to mouth off with, one to chow down with, and one to stik your foot in.:lol

You can dry it in the oven over nite, with the door open on low. NO really hard spots on the trail cept that you got to average at least 17 miles a day no matter what you tell yourself now or in the first Month. Remember, that’s the hardest part.

Hoover, u don’t need to bring meat, there is plenty of game animals along the trail. Just set up a snare, or deadfall trap and you’ll have fresh meat in a jiffy.

Hoover, I think the language difference is a little problem on this web site but one of your French Canadien countrymen had a journal for a while this year. His trail name is L-A Dom and while he had to get off due to illness he could probably help you out more then these jackasses. Reading the journals is also a good way to see how others have coped with everyday life on the trail.

I talk to a guy, he’s name is JONES, PHILIP T, he made the AT tree time and he right me a letter of 600 words, he describe is personal hike. How i do it. The difficulties. All my question are filled whit is HELP.
