First PCT yo-yo

From the PCT-list:

At right about 2:00 on Saturday afternoon, Scott Williamson reached the Mexican border. He said about 35 people were there to see him finish, and Backpacker magazine sent a photographer to follow him for the last couple days, making for a slightly surreal yet enjoyable end to his hike.

Scott has been trying to yo-yo, not to be the first,
but to accomplish the goal, since 1996; he’s now done
7 complete thru-hikes, and a ton of sections for at
least 30,000 miles on the PCT.

Congratulations, Scott!

And here I was trying to deconstruct my own OCD. Congrats and happy sore feet. I envy his life time of memories.

Congratulations to Scott!!! Sisu and I met him on the bus to the border (the first time) and again when he was heading south at Timberline Lodge. I wondered about his success after hearing about some serious early snowfall in central California about a month ago. Great news. It made my day.
