We got our first thru-hiker from Denver today at Texas Creek. He said the snow was deep in places but negotiable. We have seen about 12 section hikers and 3 CDT folks. apple

Apple, is your location this year at the division of Segments 18 & 19 where the two roads intersect?

Yes, we are about 2 miles north of the start of 19 if you are heading south. The Coleman Ranch brought a homemade trailer for hikers to sleep in. They converted a horse trailer by putting a wood stove in it and some windows. It aint too beautiful but you could spend a Colorado winter in it.
