Flagstaff - Arizona Trail

Everybody coming behind me the Datasheets are completely wrong about the waypoint to use to come into town. Take the urban trail–I think the waypoint is 160—but it is certainly not 171–you will climb a big mountain that you do not need to climb if you go off at that point. The urban trail is marked with AZT carsonite poles. Flagstaff is a great town ists only about a mile+ from that place the trail hits town until you hit a perfect downtown with Motels hotels and Hostels. There is a big heath food store 1/2 mile from the trail junction on the way to town. Buses run down that street towards town.

Just got to flagstaff, took a wrong turn and ended up in the best place for resupplying!

If you want a hostel downtown, take a left turn at butler instead of a right. Walk about 10 minutes to san francisco ave, take right and the hostel will be right there. $43/night. And there’s another one close by (I think its hotel depreaux or something). This one is $46/night for a private room, internet, laundry, shower, etc. Its right near 3 outdoor stores, lots of restraunts, post office.
