Does anyone know if deerhunting is a problem for backpackers on the foothills trail in SC. Thanks Brown Bear.

My friend and I just finished the FHT yesterday. We had no problem with hunters. Alot of the trail is thru protected areas. If you are out on a weekend wear orange. We had a cheap plastic orange vest on our pack on Sat & Sun but even then we never heard any gunshots, nor did we run into hunters. – It is a beautiful trail.
