Forum Rules - Appalachian Trail

This is the 3rd post that I have tried to put on here, and it just keeps getting deleted. I have read the forum rules, and can find NO GOOD reason why my topic keeps getting deleted. Now if you are telling me that crotch chafing while hiking is not a valid topic, or it is somehow taboo to talk about this, then you know nothing of hiking. It is a fact of life. If you are saying the words butt or arse are offensive to you, GROW UP!

In fact, here are the rules:

  1. Pages on this site are for the purpose of sharing your hiking knowledge with others. Any other posts unrelated to hiking may be removed. All posts intended to harass, provoke, and/or threaten others will be removed and your account will be deactivated.

  2. Immediate deletion may occur if posts contain any of the following: nudity, sex, pornography, foul language, hate propaganda, threats, anything illegal, mail fraud and/or pyramid schemes. This includes anything considered Adult material.

  3. You will not send unsolicited email, or spam to anyone who posts to Trail Forums.

  4. Trail Forums reserves the right to delete any thing that it deems unacceptable for any reason without prior notice.

  5. Trail Forums makes no guarantee as to the availability of service.

  6. Trail Forums reserves the right to change these rules at any time without notice.

Who is the idiot running this outfit anyways?

Unbelievable!! I tried twice before to respond to your question but was unable to b/c the posts were deleted before I had the opportunity. Crotch chaffing is absolutely a valid topic especially when hiking or any kind of physical activity is involved, especially for men. If any body has experienced the same or would like to comment with some suggestions please do!

There’s actually a thread on chafing already. Go to the search the forum section and search for that word, and it’ll pop up.

Me too!

I have found keeping the boys clean and powdered up (dry) tends to do wonders.

Hope that helps.

With responses like this, i wouldn’t be surprised at the deletions.
