I was hiking near the Vermillion Ferry pickup point on Monday (May 21) and found a folding knife in the middle of the trail (near PCT mile 877 but not on the PCT - on the Lake Edison connector). From its condition and placement, I suspect that it was dropped recently by a Northbound PCT thru-hiker in the area. Anyone here know someone hiking that far North on May 21? If so, could you send the hiker’s contact info to JohbnLadd at gmail dot com and I will see if I can return the knife to the right person? BTW, Vermillion Ferry is not yet operating, but should start soon.
