Subject: Missing person
PLEASE HELP ME FIND MY SON! This young man is missing and believed to
be hiking the AT. It has been confirmed that he took a bus to Knoxville,
TN on Nov. 17. I believe he would try to begin the trail in the Smoky
Mtn. Nat’l Park. He is NOT prepared and is scared, running, with no
money. He has only day hiked in the past and left without any supplies
or warm clothing. He may have purchased or borrowed something along the
way.
Daniel Edwards is 18 years old, 6’4 and weighs around 160 lbs. He may
be going by another name, possibly Scott Cooper, and his hair will be a
little longer than pictured.
Please let me know if you see him. Do NOT help him to get any alcohol.
Please call me at 419-306-1640 day or night. He is listed as a missing
and endangered person. He is NOT dangerous, just scared.
Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
