Hikers along the Appalachian Trail were warned Wednesday George Zinkhan, a University professor accused of killing three people Saturday, may be in the area.
“Mr. Zinkhan was a hiker in the past and did hike on the Appalachian Trail,” U.S. Park Ranger Eric Barron told the Associated Press. A notice posted on the Appalachian Trail Conservancy’s Web site warns Zinkhan may have a gun and advises people to call 911 if he is spotted.
Zinkhan was last seen driving a maroon 2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade with Georgia tag AIX 1376.
Here is some information that I have found. I think it is a long shot that he went to the trail.
You may remember that last creep named Hilton from GA that killed Meredith Emerson on Blood Mountain was captured less than two miles from my house. He will never see the outside of a prison again.

Why do all the nuts come to the trail now? That makes me scared to hike alone I should feel safer on the trail than @ home what’s going on with the world.He needs to be under the jail eating worms if you take a life youshould loose your life a eye for a eye is the way I see it.:eek:

His jeep was found near his home and a man-hunt was in progress as of this morning.
