I will fly into EWR and take bus to Delaware Water Gap, Pa. So I will be minus those items not permitted on plane. I need cannister of pepper spray bear deterrent, jetboil butane, Deet, waterproof matches, batteries, etc. Found sources for some stuff in DWG. Q: anyone know of good sources going N.bound of trail stuff prohibited on airplanes. Not new at this. Thanks, Andren

There is a Walmart in East Stroudsburg. It is 4.8 miles from where the AT crosses Lake rd.

there are lots of places to resupply, including 1 or two outdoor shops in the DWC. Recommend the AT data book for resupply info

You can take the local bus into the next door town of Stroudburg and go to the http://www.dunkelbergers.com Dunkelberger Sportings Goods Store.
