Georgie Heitman in Old Station

I ran into Georgie at the little store in Old Station. I guess she collects info on all the hikers who come through there and she wanted my name, start date, finish date, etc. Because I was hiking on a schedule and it was early in the day, I didn’t stay with the Heitmans, but she gave me her email address to let her know when I finished, etc. and I lost it.

Anyone know her contact info? Or if she reads this:
Just Dave, age 20
Started 5-13
Finished 8-12
From Flagstaff, AZ

Thanks Georgie! Next time I’ll stop in for awhile.

Thanks for the info, Dave…it’ll get entered on your card when I get it back from WeatherCarrot. He’s already taken almost 2/3rd of the info cards I collected to begin his address list for Cloudspotter’s official Class of 2007’s DVD. You’ll be getting a copy for sure as a result of giving me the address, etc. we needed. I really appreciate your willingness to share that information with me.
There’s a hiker named Gary out there who put only his first name on a card, nothing else. If he, or a friend read this and he’s willing to share enough information about himself to also receive a copy of the DVD, he can reach me at the address above. There are a few other folk who left w/o filling out a card. If any of you recognize yourself as being one who did that and wish now you hadn’t, just send an email. If you wish your info to not be shared beyond WeatherCarrot and Cloudspotter, just say so. I’ll make sure it doesn’t see the light of day beyond the three of us. Dozen, Corky, maybe Chuckwagon and Rocket Cop are among the missing. There are more, but until I get my cards back from W.C., and match them back up with photos, I won’t know who are cardless and have no addresses, etc from. I have photos missing too. I really hate that. We had 265 hikers thru the Hideaway this year and I was gone for 10 days in July. I’d love to see who the folks I missed are, and match them with the cards they left. Even when I was here, I missed photoing a few, and their faces are just gone…we had too many to remember them all and put names to them. That’s sooooo sad. I’ll walk right past them at Kick-Off and never know I should say ‘hi’. If anyone out there knows they’re a missing face and want to mail or email me a snapshot of themselves, the email address is above. I’d almost prefer snaps sent by snailmail (I won’t have to figure out how to get them into a 6x4 size, into my computer aand printed out, a struggle for a computer lame brain like me). Email me for my home address in Old Station, or just send to me General Delivery, I’ll get it. Thanks, Just Dave, for getting back to me and thereby giving me a chance to ask for a chance to complete my photo albums for 2007. Oh, I have no photos from folks who were willing to fill out cards at either the Post Office or the Hat Creek Store. I’d love to know what they look like. Thanks…

I have a picture of myself and Optimist that I want to send to Georgi Heitman as well, but also can’t seem to locate her address. Georgi, if you read this, can you email me your address so I can get that out to you? Optimist was the one with the “Same shirt, different day” shirt, and we got a great shot with it at Goat Rocks. We finished the PCT on Sept. 1st by the way! Also, Georgi said she was wondering about Rocketcop. He’s a good friend of ours, and finished I think around Sept. 12th and is back in Seattle working.
thanks again for all your hospitality this summer.
