An update on what’s left to complete of the 800+ mile AZT.

Volunteers for Outdoor Arizona completed their segment north of the Gila River just before the rain came on Sunday. This was 1.7 miles of the 8 remaining miles.

YRU (mechanical crew) is making great progress. As of Monday 1.8 miles of the 3.4 mile segment is left to do.

The uncompleted segment immediately west of Kelvin is estimated to be 3 miles long. Another mechanical crew started there on Monday so the 3 miles is declining as you read this.

So the 8 miles on the website thermometer is now 4.8 miles and dropping.

The mechanical crew working north from the Gila River/Cochran area expects to wrap up on Wednesday. This leaves less than 3 miles to go!
