eh brah, any town with a hardware store will definetly have white gas. any tourist town with out a hardware store, but with a sooper market, will most likely have white gas. although in both cases you will have to buy the big container and only use a small portion of it. have you ever used esbit tabs? the litest (well asides from alcohol and a tuna can) means of firing up some grub. carrying 2 weeks of esbit tabs (14 - dinners only!) is very lite. you may want to consider buying in bulk and mailing some ahead.

That is what I figured… I don’t mind buying a whole big container of it, but then what do I do with it? It would be nice if I could leave it somewhere for hikers behind me… This is what it was like on the AT… I guess overtime we will figure it out.

Anyone know if there’s a hardware store where I can buy denatured alcohol in Copper Mountain? I remember the resort as not having much in the way of mundane goods. But then I haven’t spent much time there.
