I am looking for detailed directions and mileages for the road walk around the Glacier Peak Wilderness from Stevens Pass to the town of Trinity. Can anyone guide me to some reliable info?? Thanks!

sorry i can’t, but i can tell you we walked through it last year and it was easy and beatiful

Sorry, I also can’t provide what you are asking, but maybe the Dinsmore’s can?
I concur with neighbor, having done both routes. In 07 we were frightened by the stories and walked the Chihuahua Rd route, which, while it proved to be filled with fun adventures, does not remotely hold a candle to the scenary of the real PCT. Despite a 5 mile section of annoying blowdowns, the trail isnt all that difficult, sightly more so than normal PCT. I did Stevens to Stehekin in 4+ days as a chubby section hiker coming off the couch last summer

This system won’t accept my posts with links, I guess. anyway, try searching for pacific crest trail detour glacier peak… there are all kinds of info out there from the PCTA, forest service, and others…
Also, Trinity isn’t a town, it’s just a trailhead.

Hey Hydro, stay on PCT, lost of blow downs but awesome challenging and definitely hikeable section. The big concern was the suiattle river which now has a log crossing that some people scoot across on their rear but most people walk across. I did my biggest mileage day on whole trail through here, definitely doable! You and Guino better give me a call at some point, I lost your numbers. 9148260460
