Going To Spence Field in Smokies

Howdy to everybody that I have not seen or spoke to in a while. My birthday is on New Years Eve and I am going to go hiking for it. I decided to go to Spence Field Shelter in the Smokies. I just got a brand new Marmot “Never Summer” sleeping bag that I am going to test. Just wondering if anyone would happen to be in the area on Dec. 31, and Jan 1? Well good to be posting back on Trail Journals again. Also, Sleeper, e-mail me if you see this post. Been needing to talk with you.
