Just curious if anyone has used the Gossamer Gear Spinnshelter? I’m looking for a one person shelter that’s lighter than my Tarptent Squall. The Spinnshelter is 8 oz. Even with a ground cloth,bug canopy and stakes it wouldn’t weigh more than 15 oz.

i currently use an Oware cattarp 1.1 w/ a BMW Vapor Bivy from Backpacking Light . they come in at 15 oz. backpacking Light also just released a 4.2 oz tarp and will have a lighter bivy soon as well.

i dont have it but would also like a review. i like the fact that you can make it so blowing rain wont get you wet but i think it would have condanstion which i cant stand. it looks great though with a bug bivy and tyvek small groundcloth you are set. any thoughts i was looking at it for my thru hike.
