Greyhound is like a bad politician who didn’t keep his campaign promises. Only there’s no one running against him, and he fancies to reign for life by divine right. Coup d’etat! Coup d’etat ovrir le chien gris, mes enfants!

Wow–this is quite a blow to my post thru hike plans–I was going to take a Greyhound to Medford, Or. Now I am looking for some way to get to Gunnison where a regional transit bus goes to Denver, where I can get a plane. I will get into Durango around September 14-15 and am willing to pay gas money from Durango to Gunnison for any trail angel willing to do a shuttle. I am in Lake City now and will be back on the trail tomorrow, but will check my email when I get into SIlverton on the 7th. Any other suggestions welcome.
