That should get you started in the right direction
Zirk
Don’t forget Clark Jungle Hammock. I originally used the Hennessy which is a great hammock but since using the Clark this last summer I highly recommend giving it a look. The large rain fly on the Clark gives a large area to sit under the hammock during a rain and keep dry. It also is easier to get in and out of (IMHO). I also like the storage pockets underneath to store gear you might need in the night and keep within easy reach.
Big B
Have been tenting for 35 years. Purchased the Clark Jungle Hammock last spring and don’t think I will ever go back to a tent. Like Big B said, the oversize fly and the gear pockets are handy. Another big plus is the mosquito netting that can be removed if the bugs are gone.

No better place for information on hammocks. I’ve used the Hennessey Hammock and used one my 04 through AT hike. Now I use a Mosquito Hammcck and find it much more comfortable.

Bear Bag Hanger
I have an ENO hammock (eagles nest outfitters) and love it. Its great for warm weather backcountry trips and packs down small and is very light.
