Hammock Camping on the CT and CDT?

If a person was going south on the CT and then back toward Denver on the CDT are there enough trees to make carring a Hammock worth it?
Thanks

As far as the southbound leg on the CT, there are enough trees around to hang at night. You’ll just have to do more hunting for the good ones than you would, say, on the AT. As for the CDT return, I have no experience on that trail and will defer to others who do.

In a word - no, it’s not practical on the CDT in Colorado. Most of the trail is above treeline. While you do dip into trees at times, it’s just not practical for a lengthy trip.

You will have to hunt a LOT harder on both the CT and the CDT in Colorado. way too time consuming.
