Has anyone been over Harrison Pass recently? How bad is the north side?
I always go solo and am looking at doing a loop from the upper Kern over Harrison to East Lake / Bubbs Cr. then over Avalance Pass to Roaring River, etc.
Usually hesitent to do serious bushwacking alone - the old “If you die, you die - but if you break your leg your screwed”, so have not yet done Harrison.
But it sure looks tempting. However, I have no technical climbing experience. Thanks
