it was the origanal plan to do all 4 in one year. i looked at sponsorship and support crews. no one took me serious so i looked at finding something harder that i could do on my own. hence thru hiking all 3 starting on the pct.:cheers

congratulations sqeaky!!
I don’t know if you remember us, but we met you at the monument the day you started the triple crown, and that we started the PCT. we’ve been following along with your hike, before and after we reached the canadian border (about 2 months after you  ), and were overjoyed to see that you made it to springer on time and well. We always knew you would.
We second freebird. When we got to Kennedy meadows, and among all the mass hysteria that was going on last year about the sierras, reading your first hand reports (and dave and michelle’s) about the conditions was a great help and encouragement to going straight thru, which turned out to be one of the most amazing experiencing of our lives. Thank you.
peace, love, and sunshine in the mountains,
Heather and Remy.

I’m not sure you remenber me, we met at Kennedy Meadows on May 23 before noon, i’m very impressed by your challenge, you are an inspiration for us, i followed your journal from france since june, your performance is amazing.
here people don’t know much about long distance hiking, but when i talk about what you did, they don’t want to believe me…
Encore Bravo!
