This is the type of storm that can give the higher elevations in the Smokies over 1 foot of snow.

when I can’t get away. What a drag. I’ll be able to get away in a week or so for a section hike in that area, but will I see any live snow? If I’m lucky …:rolleyes

I fancy a toboggan, a nice 12’er. Load the packs on and mush it. Down hills like the Grinch! Woohoo! A wok for each butt cheak? No, they stick to your skin like your tongue to a phone pole. No good.:nerd

Hey everyone…

Ben (Officer Taco) is slated to roll into the NOC this Saturday. He should be hitting the smokies late next week according to our plan. Since we’re from Michigan we aren’t too concerned about the snow…but it may slow OT’s pace.
