Does anyone know of anyone know of someone that could get two long distance hikers from the Newark airport to the trail at Culver Gap? We have been section hiking for five years and have made it as far as NJ. This is the first time we have used air travel so we just need help getting to Culver Gap around April 14. If you know of a shuttle or public transportation to the trailit would surely help. Swamp Dawg& Stinger

In 2002 I got from Hwy 17A in New York to Newark Airport by taking a communter train to Grand Central Station and then taking a shuttle bus from the Transit Authority bus station to Newark Airport. It cost about $10.00 total the best I can remember. You can probably check the web sites for these places and find out if there is a bus or train to Culver’s Gap or nearby.
