My name is Denver D’Mello and I thru hiked the Appalachian trail, class of 2008 and ever since then I have had the need to get back outdoors and hit as many of the long trails as possible
I am from London, England and I am flying into Denver, Colorado from London on June 14th arriving 5pm.
Yes I know I have the same name as the city I am flying in to, quite cool.
I am looking for someone, possibly someone who is also hitting the Colorado trail to pick me up from the airport, do a quick resupply, crash the night and then be dropped off at the trailhead in the morning.
i am open to any help, even if it is just to be picked up and crash the night and then I can catch get a bus or train to the trail head in the morning. if your hiking the trail too that would be great and of course I’m happy to pay fuel costs if you go out of your way.
i have no schedule but I was thinking about 5 weeks should do it or so.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Cheers

Airport is way out there. “just to be picked up” is a big deal. There are buses to downtown and that is probably what you should do.

I provide custom shuttle services on the Colorado Trail, CDT, and American Discovery Trail. I can help you get from DIA to Waterton Canyon with a gear supply first. 720-934-9245. Jason.

June 14th is really close to when I was planning on leaving, and I live like 30 minutes from Denver International and like 40 minutes north of the trailhead.

You can email me if you’d like to talk further. Originally I had been planning on leaving the 16th or 17th because my ride to the trail is off work on the weekends.
