I was looking on line at some cold weather bags 0-20 degrees. I came across some High Peak bags, I have never heard of them before. Anyone out there know anything about the company. They are cheap, so it seems to me like something from Walmart but not sure.
Today I went to the REI scratch and dent sale in Atlanta. The salesman inside the store told me that they had about 800 people waiting at the doors to open at 10:00 AM. I was one of those people. They had to send for the police to monitor the traffic outside the store. By the time they let me in (10:30) only a handful of items were left from the S&D sale. Still looking for a nice 0-20 degree bag around $200.

We went with Exponent brand bags from Coleman. We have an outlet store in our area, and they have a clearance sale twice a year, so we got 30% off of the Outlet price. I think we paid about 60.00 and they seem to be good bags, rated for 20 degrees. The coldest I’ve actually experienced while in the bag was 32 and it was fine. Also, one trick I used was to take toe warmer packs made for ski-ers(also on clearance at the Coleman Outlet). They have adhesive on one side so I stick them to my socks. Toasty warm.
