Hey all,
I’ll be starting in about a month and can’t wait to see Colorado in the fall…and maybe some of you out there.
I’ve been wondering, are there any hiker boxes out there along the trail?
And someone mentioned something to me in passing about some new re-routes this year, anyone know about that? Can I just find about it along the hike when I get there or are they more complicated, or non-existent?

I am not aware of any official hiker boxes. I know that sometimes people may leave stuff in certain areas unofficially. Don’t expect AT-like hiker boxes. Anything would be gravy and can not be counted on.

Basically the CDT. If you follow your maps, it should be easy to follow. Harder than the older route, more scenic.

Disco followed this new route. It is flagged, if not officially done yet. He said it was easy to follow.
